Tea Time!

For those of you who know me it would come as no surprise that I love to go to ‘high tea’ whenever we are visiting someone or somewhere.

We decided to treat Paula and Albert to this experience but found out it is actually officially called ‘afternoon tea’.

Pendray House is right on Government Street across from the water. It is a huge, old building with plenty of character and charm. Of course people with certain disabilities would have trouble maneuvering the stairs but luckily I could still make the climb.

We were so blessed to have such a sunny week in late September with flowers still everywhere and the trees changing colours before our eyes.

I loved all the stained glass in the house and the room in which we ended up was fairly private. There were lots of tables scattered throughout the building.

Albert and I shared the tiered lunch and Terry and Paula shared their tray. We each had our own pots of tea of our own choosing. It was a lovely, relaxed time and guess what? We didn’t need dinner that night!
