A Pretty Picture
I wrote my new song (from my 4th album to be released called “Storm Heaven” after one of my neighbourhood walks.) There is so much to see when you go for a walk as opposed to driving quickly by in your vehicle.
Here are some of my photographs over the past while that I hope you will enjoy.
The theme is ….Nature!
The butterfly shot in the above section was taken by my friend, Laverne. I loved it. Also, our ‘Gus’ is no longer with us and I miss him.
I love looking at flowers, leaves, waterways, trees, moss, and mushrooms. (Terry took the 5th and 6th mushroom photos at his golf course for me.)
I love sunflowers and poppies. And we have the most beautiful fountain right in our neighbourhood!
Since my body pain has gotten worse…and we’ve had a summer of rain or wasps or mosquitoes….I sometimes DO take the car out and stop for a photo of something that attracts my eye.
Do you think you could see beauty in an abandoned wasps’ nest? Would you even notice a tiny moth? Do pinecones on the ground ever catch your eyes? Do skies?
Let’s go into the weekend with eyes wide open to the beauty around us. It IS there.
Peace, friends.
Love,
Laura
