Happy Easter, 2026!!!!

Happy Easter, my friends!

This is considered the holiest day of the year in the Catholic Church and for good reason. Without the resurrection…then all that was preached to those first disciples was a lie!

But Jesus DID resurrect from his bloody death on a cross. He appeared to over 500 people after his return from the dead. And when Thomas,(one of the Jesus’ disciples) didn’t believe it could happen …Jesus appeared to him and had him put his fingers in his nailmarks and his hand in his wounded side….(Exactly what Thomas demanded in order for him to believe!)

So: what do we celebrate?

We rejoice that there is a place for us in Heaven someday if we believe. We know that despite all the terror around the world today that HE will win in the end. Jesus IS the way, the truth, and the life ever after!

So sure…. find the eggs, eat the chocolate, laugh and relax that Lent is over for the year, and KNOW that if we believe we can join him in paradise someday.

And let’s not forget to pray for our unbelief and for those we love.

Give it a try and enjoy not only this Easter….but the wonderful knowledge that Jesus came to save us and nothing could or ever will stop him from returning.
