Good Friday

So much family and friends get togethers this year and this combined with balancing these days with our Lenten observances becomes quite the busy time.

We find ourselves in quite a few diners because we enjoy taking the grandsons there for lunch on occasion and we also enjoy having a coffee just the two of us and playing our Tile Rummy game.

On Holy Thursday we took our youngest grandson out for a couple of hours to….you guessed it….a diner for lunch. This particular one has been around since 1961 and is called Helen’s. We had a fun lunch and then it was time for an Easter craft!

Mass that night was beautiful. It always makes me feel emotional when the priest becomes “Jesus” to the volunteers when he washes their feet.

It’s the Triduum.

This is a very holy weekend.
