155th Reunion for Assumption High

On Saturday, November 8th, we attended Terry’s high school reunion that included a class from 1954! We were blessed to sit at the best table in the room I think because it was just to the side of the stage and our seat mates were the best! (Terry sat right beside his 2 best friends, Pete and Denise!) Lilliana placed us at her table, a former classmate and teacher at Assumption for 30 years!

The ballroom was massive at the Casino and beautifully decorated. Each person received a hardcover history of the school book, a hand carved coaster, a Christmas tree decoration, and a toothbrush (which I ended up actually needing right away for our hotel in Toronto on the way home!)

Terry’s class was the biggest of all the 700 people assembled. It was great to see how many teachers were there (with many compliments for Terry as a former student!) and that many folks flew back just for the event. (2 of our table mates flew in from England!)

According to that first slide I apparently attended the school too…..ha ha ha.

Not my best work with the professional photographer’s lighting stand in the way but here they are….The class of ‘75! (Well, at least those who could attend>)

I need to say that the high school band and choir were excellent and so was the buffet dinner selection for both the first course and desserts!

Terry introduced me to many friends and teachers that night so I didn’t feel alone. I even knew some people myself because we still connect through FaceBook since the 40th reunion!

Congratulations, all!
