Friends and Family Artists

During our last few days in Windsor it was great fun to visit with some of our best friends…who are artists in their own right!

Pete Hrastovec is Poet Laureate for Windsor, Ontario, and his wife, Denise, is a lovely painter in her spare time. We also had a nice lunch with Pat and Dewar Laing who are also incredible artists and writers. 'Just missed the big rain too.

I also had meet ups with my friend, Judy Paling at Cooper’s Hawk winery with my sister, Pamela and later with my brother, John, at Wineology for a dinner with Terry. Judy is a drummer, singer, and author and John is our award winning guitarist (and singer/songwriter) brother/brother-in-law.

I loved our last ‘family painting day’ before Terry and I flew home.

Pam and Mum created their watercolours at the kitchen island, I sat at the dining room table to try out the ‘bubble technique’ watercolours. Paula sat at the card table to create more beautiful alcohol ink designs and Dad worked on his acrylic painting in the art room.
