All About The Art, part two
I have a brand new painting to share with you. My influence was a photo I took when we were atop a mountain in Hawaii one year.
I’ll never forget the lighting at dusk that evening. It was very chilly up there and windy too….but beautiful.
And I’m very proud of this plaque I received from Luxuria Magazine who did a profile on me as an artist/musician …..here it is….

I was super happy when we got asked to put more paintings up at Sweet Pea Café for the next month. I love how they look! Maybe we’ll sell a couple. ‘Hope so…..
And one evening after we’d hung our art at Sweet Pea we drove over to the Strathern Art Walk and checked out the wares of other artists. We didn’t purchase anything but it was fun to walk around and see what others were doing.
A few years back we too put up our tent and sold a few paintings but : I was in a wheelchair after my ankle/foot rebuild, it rained, AND one has to tear the whole thing down at night and put it all up again the next day. Ugh. Never again.
No matter what it takes to sell art (and that will always be a challenge) I know one thing….. my talent ultimately comes from God and I feel so blessed to be able to enjoy it while I am able.
