Grandparents Day

My friend, “Shorty” and I are both grandparents and we love it.

We have both struggled with some health issues but finally found a time to visit together at Manchester Square.

Pat is originally from England and still loves all things British….even her humour! She is very funny and kind too. We had a lovely lunch at the Western Sandwich Company and then a wee shopping trip in the Square. I am blessed to know her.

That evening Terry and I attended a lovely service for the unborn at our church. There was a one hour adoration and then mass. We loved it.

The next day we showed up at the nearby grade school to fill in for ‘N’’s real grandparents who live in Calgary. It was fun to watch N in his school environment and see how comfortable he is with other children.

We joined in to the ‘cup’ game and then watched when more players got involved.

Later that afternoon Terry and I went to a park. The weather here has been the best I can ever remember.

Tomorrow it’s time to pack…….
