Candy Corn Lane

Just a ways away from our neighbourhood here in Edmonton there is a street called “Candy Cane Lane”. At Christmas every single home on the street is lit up and decorated to the nines with Christmas finery. People come from all over the city to see it.

Well the other day I just found out about “Candy CORN Lane”! It is an area of town quite south from us and every home decorates like crazy for Hallowe’en!

I decided one rainy afternoon to try and find this street and boy, the Journal writer was not exaggerating! I am only posting a FEW of the incredible setups I saw that day. What a treat for a gal who just loves Hallowe’en!

Talk about imaginative! Some of these decorations were sky high too! Where do people STORE these things? I had a blast checking out everything as I drove by and trying to take photos for you from my car passenger window.

If I lived in this neighbourhood and got to go ‘trick-or-treating” here as a child I would have LOVED it!

I noticed that even one of the parked cars had spooky family stickers on their back window….

I hope you enjoyed the tour! P.S. An article in the paper said that over 3,000 children are expected on the day! I returned in the evening to show Terry too….
