My Ship Has Come In
Well, 3rd week in a row for visitors but we are having a wonderful time with these lovely people.
I used to teach with Bev back in the 80’s and we are still friends today. She flew in this week to visit us and we’ve been having good meals and chats and fun. We snuck in a practice for mass , enjoyed a hotdog lunch after the service, and found time to visit Sweat Pea, our friend Sam’s lovely restaurant.
One day we set up a time to meet my sister, Paula at Brew & Bloom for a yummy lunch there. SO floral but delicious food and great company of course.
That evening we surprised Bev with a dinner cruise! The Edmonton River Boat was a wonderful experience! We found a perfect parking spot, the very last table in the place and made new friends with our table mates, Shirley and Steve. The weather was perfection and the food was good too. It was a lovely evening.
If you live in Edmonton or are visiting ….I can highly recommend this experience. Get there early!
