Sister Fun
Why did I miss the ‘handyman’ (handy woman!) gene? Ha ha.
All 3 of my sisters can look at something broken and be able to fix it. I’ve seen Paula fix taps, Pamela fix my vacuum, and Mary build an entire property from the septic …up!
Ah well, thank God I’m married to Terry!
I had so much fun with Paula and Pamela at rehearsals for my “Storm Heaven” concert and of course the concert itself. I am super happy that Pam booked off a whole week so we could hang out beyond the concert date!
One day we all went to the south-side “Brew & Bloom” for lunch. It was just as good as the one near my home. Paula is only 4 weeks post knee replacement and doing SO well!
Pam is becoming an excellent watercolourist and it hasn’t taken her long to figure it out either!
She sells her hand-painted bookmarks now for $6.00 and she recently sold 100 of them! So she spent several times over the week working on new ones and I love them. We also had fun having a bonfire/s’more night one lovely evening.
Paula, Pam, and I enjoyed “Practical Magic 2” at the theatre and I took Pamela out for an afternoon of ‘antiquing’ and then Tile Rummy at Paula’s.
As I write this Pam has been home for a day and it’s time for me to move along to new adventures.
