A few days ago our dad turned 94 and now our mum is 91! On Wednesdays Mum paints with Pamela. So since her birthday fell on a Wednesday and all the sisters are in town…we decided to have a family painting day!
Paula worked on the card table, I was at the dining room table, Mum and Pam at the counter, and Mary at the side of my table.
Coffees were made and we put my brand new album on while we created. The ironic thing is that our dad didn’t paint and he usually paints 2 or 3 times a day. He has pretty bad arthritis in his right hand and he needed a break.
But he did surprise ‘Marmie’ with a nice present and a bouquet of balloons!
