Date and a Diner
On the evening of my mum’s birthday, I left early to join my ‘bestie’ Barb for an adventure in Detroit, Michigan! She purchased tickets to a documentary about the movement of the Holy Spirit in the world called That They May Be One.
The theatre was one of the most comfortable that I’ve ever been in! It had no stairs, ‘lazy boy’ lounge chairs that not only reclined but could be heated too, and great sight lines. The doc was fascinating and gave us lots of food for thought and conversation. In fact we stayed in our seats quite long after the show to talk about what we’d just experienced. After the show we found “Archie’s” and enjoyed sharing a delicious Greek salad and pita breads. Of course it’s always so easy to be with your dear friends and Barbara is one of my ‘‘forever’ friends that I’ll soon be going away with for yet another wonderful weekend away to join our other 2 ‘besties’ dating back to high school.
My sisters and I had a chance for a bit of a drive and shopping experience the next day and it was also a lovely time.
After having some success with our shopping in Kingsville we headed over to the Vehicle Museum and a diner I’ve always passed by but never been to. It was a great lunch!
My sisters are cool!
