Trivia And A Panto

One of our wonderful Christmas traditions involves our son, D, who always plans an incredible Trivia game for his work colleagues. And we, his family, get the benefit of getting to play it too!

We divided the room into 2 teams and of course I’m thrilled to say that my team won…ha ha.

The next few days were just filled with children’s laughter, well, adults’ laughter too, games and even puzzles!

At one point I shared my phone/camera with a couple of the grandsons and the last 2 photos were taken by a couple of them! We even had our dear friend, M, fly in from Chicago to be with us all.

On the Friday, we all received another major Christmas gift from J and S. It was tickets to a “Panto” at the York Theatre and we all loved it once again. (We also went to one last year!)

This may become an annual thing!

The wee ones understood it on one level and the large and copious social commentaries were understood by us older ones…ha ha. But at question time, even our youngest one shouted out an answer and it was taken up by the whole crowd : The actor asked, “How do we get things to change?” And R shouted out, “ We say, PLEASE !”
