Time to Fly Home Once Again
It was a lovely week with our Van families despite our illnesses and hopefully none were passed on. We had had our Covid and Flu shots so I think it was just a nasty cold thingy.
One thing I wanted to mention is that our children always give the most amazing gifts, and often handmade. They pick names for each other and this year our E hand crafted a lamp (!) for J and S !
During the last day or so we had the pleasure of meeting up with Terry’s sister and her partner and the lovely Maxine’s restaurant.
For our last day in town I finally got to play the Survivor Game at D’s house. (I was voted off of the island. Boo Hoo!)
That evening we joined all of our grandsons and their parents at an indoor ice rink to watch them all skate at a private party. It looked like so much fun!
J drove us back to the hotel after a while and that was the end of our adventures with our Van family.
