Picnic Day!

The weather has been so ‘iffy’ for the past few months that we decided that when we got a good day we would take off and find a picnic spot.

Well, we DID have a perfect weather day and it just happened to be ‘our’ day ( We save Tuesdays and Thursdays for us) so it was perfect in that way too.

We found a lovely spot with virtually no one there but lots of tables and….one in the shade!

It was to be our last day of the hockey playoffs (we didn’t know it at the time) so we honoured our home team by using an “Oiler’s” blanket on the table…ha ha.

I can’t believe we’re already nearing the end of June! Must make the most of the good days!

(In the past few days 3 of our good friends have died…Alan, Kathi, and Jude. Alan from church, Kathi from our theatre days….she was in rehearsals for a play in B.C…..and Jude from the Marian Centre.) One never knows when it will be time to move on! And I’m not just talking weather!

Peace be with you, friends. Enjoy the sun while it shines!
